These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the BookHorseRiding platform and all services provided through it. By creating an account or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions

  • "Platform" means the BookHorseRiding website and associated digital services.

  • "Rider" means any user who registers to discover and book equestrian experiences.

  • "Provider" means any business or individual approved to list equestrian experiences.

  • "Experience" means any equestrian activity, service or event listed on the Platform.

  • "Booking" means a confirmed reservation made by a Rider for an Experience.

2. Platform Services

BookHorseRiding operates as an online marketplace connecting Riders with independent third-party Providers. We provide the technology platform, payment processing infrastructure and associated services that enable Riders to discover and book equestrian experiences.

BookHorseRiding does not own, operate, supervise or control the equestrian activities listed on the Platform. The contractual relationship for the delivery of each Experience is between the Rider and the Provider.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information and to keep your account details up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

  • You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account.

  • You may only hold one account per person.

  • You must not allow others to use your account.

  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Rider Passport

The Rider Passport is an optional digital equestrian profile that Riders may create to share verified information with Providers. By creating a Rider Passport, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and current.

By sharing your Rider Passport with a Provider, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of equestrian activities. You confirm that you take responsibility for determining your own suitability for participation. Any release of liability shall apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

5. Provider Accounts

Providers must complete the BookHorseRiding verification process and be approved before listing experiences. Providers agree to be bound by the Provider Terms and Conditions in addition to these Terms.

6. Bookings

A booking is confirmed when payment has been processed and a booking confirmation has been issued. The booking constitutes a contract between the Rider and the Provider. BookHorseRiding is not a party to this contract.

  • Bookings are subject to availability at the time of booking.

  • Riders are responsible for ensuring they meet the stated suitability requirements.

  • Providers may decline a Rider where suitability requirements are not met.

  • Booking confirmations will be sent to the email address on your account.

7. Payments

Payment is required at the time of booking. All payments are processed securely through our payment provider. Prices are displayed inclusive of applicable taxes where shown. Currency conversion charges may apply for international bookings.

8. Refunds

Refund policies are set by individual Providers and are displayed on each Experience listing. Riders should review the cancellation policy before confirming a booking. BookHorseRiding may assist in the facilitation of refunds where a Provider fails to honour a confirmed booking.

14. Termination

You may close your account at any time. BookHorseRiding may terminate your account with or without notice where you have materially breached these Terms or where termination is required by law or to protect other users.

15. Limitation of Liability

BookHorseRiding operates solely as an online marketplace connecting Riders with independent third-party Providers. BookHorseRiding does not own, operate, supervise or control the equestrian activities listed on the Platform.

Participation in equestrian activities involves inherent risks. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BookHorseRiding shall not be liable for injuries, losses, damages or claims arising from participation in experiences booked through the Platform.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any other matter that cannot be excluded by applicable law.
